TLK Sikitika

For contest to design an antagonist for your comic.

Sikitika, "regret" in Swahilian. 
I chose to give her robust shoulders and pronounced jaw muscles atop her head to emphasize that she is incredibly strong. Her role in a pride would be to follow after the faster lionesses in taking down prey and literally wrestle it to the ground. I chose to make her the opposite of the protagonist "Leah" who is incredibly fast and agile by making Sikitika here powerful yet slow. Leah could run circles around her!
I also gave her a cuter look over the typical edgier looks of antagonists such as Zira or Scar because in reality looks do not dictate behavior. You can be gorgeous on the outside and be anything but on the inside. Also one can do shitty things and think that they're the good guys. Right and wrong can be subjective to the individual.
I imagine Sikitika here has had a hard life. I also imagine others sometimes abbreviate her name to "Sikit" or "Kit."
For reference, as an adult Sikitika naturally has lidded eyes.


Ive decided to give her my own backstory as she will not be featured in the comic. "No big deal!" I can have fun imagining my own backstory for her!

I've decided that she is a marsh lion from the Okavango river delta. That explains her muscular build. I've also decided to give her more speed. She's no longer an antagonist either.
